Holy cow, and we thought July was going to be a busy month for us! August seems determined to kick July's butt and then go after its family.

And we're back in New Jersey tonight, making it our third time there on this petition tour. So far everyone there has been more than willing to help out, and we want to thank everyone for their participation and good sense of humor (considering this is a state that was jokingly slammed in Al's recent original song "I'll Sue Ya").

Tonight's show takes place in Holmdel at the PNC Bank Arts Center, where Nancy will be giving a little pre-concert petition tailgate party in the parking lot. Up until this past week's announcement of the Beacon Theatre show on September 20, this was going to be the closest concert on Al's tour to the New York metropolitan area, so we hope a cool cross-section of East Coasters will be there to show their support.

Again we want to reiterate yesterday's plea for more petition volunteers at concerts. It's getting down to the wire, and we are quickly running out of concerts to have people at. We can easily meet this year's goal if enough people step up to help out and do their part. Let's make this something the whole fan base can be proud of.
