"Weird Al used music videos brilliantly. His parodies of both Michael Jackson and Madonna were even more memorable than the original videos themselves." |

Make the Rock Hall Weird Update Blog
Just letting everyone know that there are five days left before voting ends in the Plain Dealer's annual Rock Hall readers poll. If you haven't filled out the ballot with a write-in vote for Al yet, then what the heck are you waiting for???

As we count down the days until voting ends, we'll also be cleaning out our closet, so to speak, and presenting links to some recent articles and columns on the Web all about Al.
Our first link this week is ironically the most recent article, seen in this month's issue of Wired. The writer, Brian Raftery, lovingly traces Al's career, notes an important milestone this year, goes on a little tour of Al's house, and concludes that if not for Al then there wouldn't be thousands of amateur comedy clips today on a certain video-uploading web site.
Do check out the article by either picking up a copy of Wired or by clicking here: Weird Al: Forefather of the YouTube Spoof
Voting ends October 10! Be sure to vote for Al today!
