"Weird Al used music videos brilliantly. His parodies of both Michael Jackson and Madonna were even more memorable than the original videos themselves." |

We have a couple of action alerts today. Specifically, we'll need fans volunteering for upcoming dates.
If you are planning to go to the Lynwood Christmas Parade on December 15, where Al is scheduled to appear as the Grand Marshall, and would like to represent the campaign and collect petition signatures, please contact us as soon as possible!
Also, Australian deejay and fellow Al fan Maynard has posted on his web site what he promises are the dates for Al's upcoming Australian tour in March. Now Weirdal.com has not breathed a single word about dates for the upcoming Straight Outta Lynwood-related tour, so any dates listed anywhere should be considered to be unconfirmed until they're announced on the official site. Nevertheless, Maynard's information looks like a very realistic tour itinerary (in fact, one show is already listed on Ticketmaster's Australian web site), so we hope his source is correct, but again just to be on the safe side remember that Weirdal.com has confirmed nothing yet about the upcoming tour.
Once again, THESE DATES HAVE NOT BEEN CONFIRMED BY WEIRDAL.COM.
Regardless, we still need fans in Australia to start volunteering, and fans there should look to Maynard's site as a guide to see where they'll be needed in the spring. We'll want people to volunteer before specific shows, so please start jockeying for position now and e-mail us immediately!
Finally, time is running out for voting in VH1's Big in '06 Awards, where Al is nominated in the "Big Download/Web Hit" category. Voting ends December 1, so you still have time to stuff the ballot for Al.
And hey, mark your calendar: there'll be a new Al-TV on VH1 December 15!
Again, if you can make it to either Lynwood or Australia, please let us know!!!
