Just in case you don't follow excellent Al news, our friends over at the Weird Al Star Fund were able to reach their goal of raising $15,000 by the end of the month, thus allowing them to officially nominate Al for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Congratulations guys, and congratulations to all of the Al fans who helped make it possible! Now of course comes the hardest part, the waiting, but today's news is just once again proof of what the Weird Al fan base is capable of.

Since both their goal and the deadline for this year's applications were rapidly approaching, I didn't want to be a wet blanket, so I decided to hold back on something for our campaign. But now that they're in the clear, I think it's appropriate for a little preview. There's more to come!
