Ready to help us with our documentary? Ready to tape your fellow fans' pleas to the Rock Hall's nominating committee? Ready to represent the campaign at an upcoming Al concert? Or, do you simply want to know where you can appear on camera yourself? Well, you've come to the right place!
Below is Al's current upcoming tour schedule as of June 26, where you will see where we'll have volunteers in the parking lots ready to tape fans. Tour dates are announced on Weirdal.com. Other appearances and events may be confirmed independently. Concert information, including links to order tickets, can be found at the World of "Weird Al" Yankovic Forums (look in the "Tourography" post in the "Touring" section; please respect the rules of the forum if you want to post there as well).
Do you want to be a "field operative" and help out with the taping? Just select a show you'll be going to and volunteer! Please be sure to first read this page to find out what you'll need, and you might want to also read our frequently asked questions page for additional info and guidelines.
In addition to people representing the campaign at the concerts themselves, we will also need local "runners" to volunteer in the weeks before a given show. A runner must know the metropolitan area well and must be willing to help arrange to leave fliers at local CD and record shops, comic book stores, bookstores, gaming stores, etc.
More than one person can represent the campaign at a show or appearance, and in fact we would like at least two people working any given show, so feel free to volunteer for whichever event you'd like. We can't do this without you!
