It was rumored that this single was to also be released commercially for Christmas of 1996, but eventually only this promo was issued.

Does that font that Al's name is in look familiar? It should, since it is the same one used for the title artwork of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas. Rather fitting, don't you find?

The image of Santa was drawn by Mark Osborne, who co-directed Al's "Jurassic Park" video in 1993. According to Al, that drawing appeared on a Christmas card Mark sent to Al one year, which gave Al the inspiration to write the song.
