NOTES & TRIVIA

The first ALbum lead-off single to be an original song.

Even though the 7" single features a version of "UHF" that differs from the one on the album, the promo CD single contains the longer album version of the song.

The first Al single to be released on cassette in the United States.

The "UHF" promo is the first "Weird Al" Yankovic CD single to be released in the United States.

Likewise, the 45 is the last commercial Al single to be issued on vinyl in the United States. It would also be the final domestic vinyl Al release whatsoever until 2006.

The single version of "UHF" would later turn up on Permanent Record: Al In The Box and is currently available on Greatest Hits Volume II and in video form on "Weird Al" Yankovic: The Ultimate Collection, Alapalooza: The Videos, "Weird Al" Yankovic: The Videos, the UHF DVD, and "Weird Al" Yankovic: The Ultimate Video Collection...making the single version of "UHF" more available than the album version (which also appears on The TV Album and the UHF DVD).
